Ragam '11 Rules and Regulations

  1. All the participants are required to bring their college ID cards (or proof of college identity). Participation or stay in the campus during Ragam '11 shall not be permitted without the same.
  2. All the participants are required to pre-register in the official Ragam website for Ragam ‘11 ID and specify if accommodation is required as per the directions in the website. Online registration is compulsory so as to avail accommodation and it will be provided strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  3. Each college is expected to have a team captain and he/she should ensure, that only members from his/her college participate under the respective college name. Any attempt to include outsiders in the team shall lead to the disqualification of the college.
  4. In the event of discovery of malpractice/mis-behavior of any kind, the decision of the Ragam team shall be final.

General Instructions & Information

  1. Team Captains from each college are requested to contact the Registration Manager, at least one week before Ragam.
  2. Online registration does not guarantee accommodation in the campus. Rooms will be allotted strictly on “First Come First Serve” basis.
  3. Accommodation will be provided in shared rooms. Any requests for single rooms shall not be entertained.
  4. Registration and Hospitality desks will be functioning round the clock during Ragam days starting from 6pm on 9th March 2011. However the desks will remain closed during the Pro-Shows.
  5. Participants who are planning to attend the Pro Shows alone need not register for Ragam separately. However, participants who require accommodation must register for Ragam.
  6. Free transportation from Calicut City during odd-times will be provided. Participants are requested to inform the Hospitality Manager atleast 3 days in advance to avail this facility.
  7. Neither the Institute nor the Ragam '11 committee shall be responsible for any misplacement/loss of belongings during Ragam '11.
  8. For the special attention of the participants coming in groups.

    1. A member of the group should be assigned as the group leader and he must have a list of all group members along with their RAGAM ID's at the time of check in. Carrying such a list can considerably reduce the delay at the registration desk.
    2. A representative from each group is strongly advised to contact the Hospitality Manager prior to their arrival at the campus to avoid delays in registration,for confirmation of accommodation and to avail transportation facilities during odd hours from the Calicut city.

Hospitality & Registration Procedure

  1. Event Registrations should be done by the team captain on behalf of all the members from the college, after arriving at the campus. There won't be any online event registration facility.
  2. Team Captain is advised to maintain a list of participants and their corresponding events at the time of registration to reduce the delay at the registration desk.
  3. All Certificates and prizes , won by a college, will be handed over only to the team captain at the time of de-registration. The participants will have to collect the same from their respective team captains.
  4. The Ragam Organising team reserve the right to deduct from the caution deposit or from the prize money, for any loss/damage caused by the participants.
